A stone's throw from the Swiss-Italian Alps is where the Grappino story begins. As a young boy Alfredo Roduner fell in love  with the local cuisine of the Swiss Italian region which is characterised by fresh produce sourced from authentic artisan producers. This cuisine has been brought to Paddington by the Roduner family with the establishment of Grappino Trattoria.

Over the years, Alfredo has handed over the reigns of the kitchen to his son Theo, now Executive-Chef at Grappino. Alfredo and Theo are joined by 'mamma' Deanne and Bernardo, who take care of front of the house service. A true family atmosphere.
